1. Safe Chargeback Draft Guarantee (100% Merchant Control)
RevClamp prepares chargeback evidence strictly as an unsubmitted draft (submit: false) inside your Stripe account
after reading your existing dispute record so your team's manual notes and receipts are never overwritten.
You retain 100% final review and submission authority in the Stripe Dashboard.
2. Accurate Account Lock & Grace Period Protection
Outbound account-lock webhooks (X-RevClamp-Signature) are sent only after verifying all subscriptions
belonging to that customer, including paid-through billing periods and your configured payment-retry grace window.
When an overdue invoice is paid, RevClamp automatically sends an account-restore signal.
3. EU B2B VAT Audit Records
Official VIES Consultation IDs and quarterly SHA-256 CSV exports provide verifiable technical evidence for EU cross-border zero-rated B2B sales and complement your company's accounting and tax filings.
4. No Legal, Tax, or Financial Advice & Third-Party Discretion
RevClamp is an automated software utility provided “AS IS” and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice. Card-issuing banks and payment networks (including Visa and Mastercard) hold sole discretion over dispute outcomes, and national tax authorities hold sole jurisdiction over VAT reverse-charge audits. Merchants remain solely responsible for reviewing staged dispute drafts and tax filings.
5. Limitation of Liability & Consequential Damages Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RevClamp and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost chargebacks, card network fees, tax assessments, or access interruptions resulting from merchant-configured rules. Total cumulative liability for any claim shall not exceed the subscription fees actually paid by Merchant to RevClamp during the one (1) month immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or $0 for Free tier users).
6. Non-Custodial Software & Independent Trademark Notice
RevClamp operates strictly as a non-custodial software telemetry processor and never holds, transmits, or controls merchant customer funds. Stripe, Shopify, Visa, and PostHog are registered trademarks of their respective owners; RevClamp is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Stripe, Inc., Shopify Inc., or Visa Inc.
